About us…

Edann is a Vancouver-based specialty coffee roaster focused on small-batch roasting from around the globe. Driven by the process of farm to cup and discovering new things about coffee, we are committed to every step of the journey. This includes our dedication to the farmers who cultivate the beans, the meticulous green bean selection process, and careful packaging to maintain freshness before and after roasting, ensuring we get the most out of every bean.

We host coffee tasting meetups, providing a unique opportunity to explore and enjoy our curated selections.

You can find Edann Coffee pop-up cafe at 1830 Ontario St, Vancouver, BC on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Roast levels

You may have noticed our roast levels ranging from e1 to e5. This categorization is our unique way of classifying coffee roast levels per bean. We specialize in light to medium-dark coffee. We intentionally avoid offering coffee that's roasted too dark (beyond second crack) because we believe it can diminish many of the unique characteristics of the beans.

e1 - our lightest roast, just after first crack

e2 - light-medium

e3 - right in the middle between first and second crack, and a great starting point if this is a new bean you’re trying

e4 - medium-dark

e5 - is our darkest, just before second crack, and not going over

Coffee Tasting Meetup

Introduction: Embarking on a journey through the world of specialty coffee. Each session will feature two carefully selected beans for tasting, discovering their unique aroma and flavor profiles. If you share a passion for trying coffee from around the world, it would be great to have you on board and share some of your own experiences.
